How Do I Do A Risk Assessment?

This is Part 5 of a 6 Part mini-series on things to consider when thinking about returning to face to face sessions.

Some insurers are requiring practitioners to have a Risk Assessment in place before returning to in person sessions.  Again, I have read a lot of posts on social media from practitioners unsure about what this means and questioning how to carry out their own risk assessment.

The good news is that as counsellors / therapists we are constantly assessing risk.  How do I keep myself safe when meeting new or unstable clients?  How do I keep my vulnerable clients safe?

Doing a risk assessment for your business is not a dissimilar process.  Our online workshop ‘Risk Assessment In Private Practice’ gives a simple, straightforward overview of the process and guides you through creating your own risk assessment.
